King's Highway at Ace Hotel Palm Springs

If you happen to be passing through Palm Springs, CA on an empty stomach, stop by the Ace Hotel's hip restaurant King's Highway. Formerly a Denny's, King's Highway restored the restaurant so that it retains a touch of retro diner nostalgia while looking to the future with a trendy design and an inspired menu made of seasonal, artisanal, local and organic products. They've also teamed up with a local family-run business, The Kid's Business, to supply fresh daily assortments of muffins, pastries and other bakery specialties.

Try the "Chilaquiles" with scrambled eggs and chorizo smothered in a fiery sauce and cool sour cream and the "Griddled Ciabatta & Cheese" which is crisp and rich with peppery arugula and green tomato salad. Daily specials, like the "Key Lime Pie" and "Cherry Vanilla Cupcakes," are sure to be fresh, sweet and robust in flavor.

Fuel that desert appetite at King's Highway!
